I often have trouble logging into the server. The terrain and chat do not load, only myself and perhaps a few animals. As a result, I simply fall into an eternal abyss. Also, since there is no chat, I can't try to warp somewhere else. If I wait long enough like this, the "connection" usually gets dropped.

I'm not sure if the trouble here is arising from my own machine or the server, but I thought I should bring it to y'alls attention just in case.

Enormous holes to the void are chunk errors, your side problem.

Trouble connecting is also your side.

Using restarting client/computer works.

If not, try posting on the Minecraft Forums, they usually have answers to Technical problems.
