[Enjin Archive] Neat chat addon unsafe?

The other day I heard on mumble some guy talking about he had scrolling chat, instead of the fixed chat you standard have and tend to miss things with due to too fast chat. So I went on ze interwebs, looked for some of them chat "mods" and installed one, logged into minecraft nothing happened, tried a diffirent one, this one seemed to work but i got a message from the server saying "your not allowed to cheat on this server" or something. Scared the crap out of me so I removed it again...
But now in the end I still not have a decent scrolling chat, does anybody have a "safe" good chat mod for me thats easy to install? Thanks!

Search for "ImprovedChat". You want the one listed on the MinecraftForum website under the thread "WDMods" (it also has some creeper tweak mods listed). It has just all the stuff that default Minecraft should include, no "bonus" cheat features. Cant find a "donator forum"... is that from a certain lvl donator or?

Spout has a scrolling chat on it using the mouse wheel, as well as many other useful functions, I highly recommend it ol' chap
Donators have to manually be given access to the Donator section. I currently don't have access to it either, but that's because I hadn't yet pestered someone to give me the site privileges of being a donator (special forum + value tag).
I have this ability and im not donator
