i said "whats up gangbangers" and then i got banned, i didnt even get a chance to read the rules

its not like i knew the rules and still did it so why did i get banned i didn't know it was a rule until i looked it up on the website here, hows that fair?

I'll start with telling you that you're already unbanned. You got unbanned last night but didn't have time to make a reply until this morning. However, even being unbanned, here's some things to keep in mind:

Joining a server for the first time and saying "whats up gangbangers" is almost 100% going to make you look like a random troll. I don't really like waiting around for trolls to say more things so I ban them quickly, it just happened to be in this case you actually wanted to play. So, please, just read the rules this time and try to follow them. Not reading the rules does not make you exempt from them. With that being said, welcome back to the server. If you need any help - just ask in chat or on our discord and we'll be happy to help.

Hey minetown! its been three years since ive been on the server and i would love to retry! i used to play this server back in the day when i was just a insecure teenager who would use swear words to make myself seem bigger than i actually was. i also had no respect for the minecraft community, and so i used xrays. this time around i plan to do things differently and contribute to the community in a more POSOTIVE way. I miss the minetown server a lot and recently got another computer and i thought of this server! 

First of all, joining a server and immediately saying "Yeah I'm permbanned on my main account" is not a good idea. However, I can see that as just being a simple mistake and will overlook it once.

As a standard we usually will unban people that have been banned for this amount of time unless they've done something really bad. I've reviewed all past bans and I can see most of it was minor infractions that cumulated into a permban on the most recent offense (xraying). Therefore, we are going to unban your main account. However, read the rules before you join. If you do even a minor infraction (within reason) you will likely be permanently banned again and wait even longer to appeal.

I really hope that you've changed in the past few years and can enjoy the server again. We definitely don't like to ban players who want to remain active on the server, so please don't make another ban have to happen.

Your account nevr4gt has been unbanned. If you require the alt account to be unbanned instead (due to losing access to the old one, etc.) just message me on discord to resolve it. Keep in mind only one account can be on at once, as stated in mt.gg/rules/.

For anyone in the future trying to appeal: This is also not the way to do it. Please make a new thread in ban appeals rather than replying to this one.
