There is an anecdote for that venom.
My dad runs a driving school part time (full time police officer). The students call our house to register for the class and my mom writes the numbers down for him to call back. One day he got a student written as best as is possible to be logically spelled (it was one of those made-up, weird-sounding names that people tend to get nowadays). When my dad called, the girl picked up (let's say her name was Draednar because I have forgotten her real name) and my dad said, "Hello, this is ** of the ******* ***** Driving School. Is Dreadner there?", to which she replied, "Nah, there ain't no Dreadner but there's a Draednar", to which he responded, "Oh, I'm sorry, I must have the wrong number then.", and hung up.
The moral of the story is don't get all prissy about how it's spelled.
